Microscopic World -1- (Mysteries of Atomic World)
Part 4: Electrons and the Wave Nature
At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, a number of mysterious phenomena which could not be understood with the classical theory consisting of Newtonian mechanics and Maxwellian electromagnetism were discovered one after another. Thereby it was made clear that the classical theory had come to a deadlock. Namely, they just stood at the dawn of the era of a new theory coming.
